I visited Oscar Oscar for the first time on Friday and had such a lovely experience, honestly unlike any salon I’ve been to before. After visiting countless salons around Brisbane and often finding them either rude or unaffordable, this was such a refreshing change. My stylist Morgan was absolutely amazing and completely exceeded my expectations. She did a beautiful job on my hair, and both she and her colleagues were so kind, welcoming, and professional, with an immaculate level of service from start to finish. I couldn’t recommend Oscar Oscar enough. I’ve already had friends and family ask for Morgan’s details because they loved my hair so much! Such an amazing salon and experience overall.

I came in for a service with Cassie (scalp bleach, etc) and not only was her customer service phenomenal but the end result was perfect!! Her communication was great, the salon was tidy/professional and it was an overall great environment to come into. Cannot recommend her enough. Thanks!!

David is a truly gifted hairstylist who brings a wealth of experience and delivers exceptional results. He has worked all over the world, including London and Paris, and it shows in the best way. He listens carefully and pays close attention to exactly what you want. He gave me the most glamorous blow-dry I’ve ever had, along with a beautifully executed, high-fashion colour. On top of his talent, David is also a genuinely lovely person. I would highly recommend booking with him!

David is an exceptionally skilled colourist! I originally came in explaining that my goal was to grow out my natural light brown hair, and that I thought the best way to do this would be to blend my previously dyed blonde with highlights at my roots. David took the time to really listen and then explained that adding more highlights would actually prolong the grow-out process and instead, he recommended blending darker tones to reconnect the blonde with my natural colour and the result was amazing! (Though he also advised I will have to blend more sessions as I grow out my hair, so the final result is still in progress!) I trusted his advice, and I am so glad I did, I had been very bright blonde before, but David blended the tones so beautifully that my hair now looks soft, natural, and seamless with my natural light brown. The result honestly feels like he gifted me back my natural look. What amazed me most was his precision and understanding, he didn’t just darken the hair, he carefully balanced the colours so everything works together harmoniously, it is no longer a harsh contrast with my natural hair! I also loved that he was able to challenge my original plan, the advice he gave me, after really finding out my goal had saved me months of further regrowth to achieve my natural look, I felt so heard and understood! I also want to mention Natalie and Michael, who have both done my hair previously. I hadn’t yet had the chance to leave a review for them, but they were also fantastic and I really appreciated their work and professionalism, I have never left this salon disappointed, I always leave with more confidence then when I walked in. I would highly recommend David, as well as Natalie and Michael to anyone! I have added the before and after pictures!
